The band features Phil "the blues" Smith on lead guitar & vocals (remember Phil from Shakin' Smith Blues Band, or Buffalo Kingsnake Band?). Don "Muddy Rutters" on rhythm guitar & vocals. Rob Scheuer on drums & vocals (also played in Shakin' Smith Blues Band, Buffalo Kingsnake Band, Stevie B & the Rhythm Rockers, & The Excellos to name a few). Doug "Shakey Leg" Thornton with that "classic blues" harmonica tone. *** The band features Joe Skinner on bass who plays that "real deal" style and has played with many great local blues and rockabilly bands. There are a number of other bass players that need to be mentioned with credits too long to list who you may occasionally see on gigs including: Mike Reid (who is featured on The Electras "Drivin' It Home" CD on most of the tunes); Jim Safee, and the ever-strong Bob Ginter. . *** A new young talent we like to occasionally feature on keyboards, Patrick Mudd, who plays beyond his years & brings on rounds of applause when he kicks out his hot solos. *** The Electras also often feature special guests on Thursdays in the summer at the River Grill, such as Pete Howard, Paul Bruschini, Danny Gambino, Dr Z, Mr Conrad, Pete Worden, Harmonica John, Mark Winsick, Sonny Mayo, Greg Zark, Jim Ehinger, Jony James, and Donna Rose. *** We are also forever indebted to the late great B3 player, Jimmy Wozniak, who bailed us out on many a gig and whose friendship and personality will be missed (see the handsome guy in the hat above).
